"Happy Anerverserry"

Today marks the 16th year since Von asked me to be his girl. For some reason, even after getting married, we still greet each other on this special day each year. He remembered it first today. He greeted me while he was getting ready for work.

After he left, while the kids were having breakfast, I mentioned to them that it was our anniversary today. Tonight, when I went to the dinner table, David had set it with two A4 sheets folded in half so it would stand and it said "Happy Anerverserry". There was one for "Mum" and one for "Dad". There were love hearts and "Yay" on them, too. My sweet David...

Say That Again?

James, one morning, was trying to hurry his brother up while getting ready for school. He was calling out, "Andale, andale!", meaning "C'mon, c'mon!" in Spanish (they have Spanish at their school from kindy).

Then, we heard Adam, copying his Kuya, saying "Underwear, underwear!"

It was hilarious!

This reminds me of all the "words" James used when he was just learning to speak. He was a late talker but he has now grown up to have such fine diction and a beautiful speaking and singing voice to go with it!

Anyway, I thought I'd document some of his "words" before I forget...not that Von will let me :D

Tuna = choda
Onion= gunion
Spicy = spiky
Spaghetti = pasgetti
Kuya = kwawa
Disgusting = isgussy
Popcorn = pooscorn
Fat Controller (from Thomas the Tank Engine) = batro (this caused a lot of heartache and tears before I finally discovered what he meant!)

I'll add to these as I remember them...
