Bright Morning

This morning, I woke up to the sound of the dishes being put away. It's a distinct sound when Von unstacks the dishwasher. A couple of days ago, I had asked him to refrain from unstacking the dishwasher when it has been done overnight as it is James' job. Oh well, at least he's helping me out, I thought.

As I got myself and baby Edward ready to go downstairs to start breakfast, etc, I heard the vacuum going in the bathroom upstairs. That can only mean that Von has decided to cut his hair and is cleaning up. So, if he's upstairs, who's unstacking the dishwasher?

Approaching the kitchen, I heard my boys' voices. When they saw me, I was cheerfully greeted by all three..."Good Morning, mum". To my surprise and delight, James had already unstacked the dishwasher, made milo for himself and his two brothers, and was finishing making Adam his breakfast. David was already eating the sandwich Kuya James had made. David had helped James by taking out everything that was needed from the fridge and the breakfast cupboard like spreads, milk, bread, etc. I looked at the clock and it's about 15 minutes earlier than when I would normally have had things done to this stage!

What a way to start my day! I focused on how beautiful my kids were today and didn't lose my temper today! My whole day was a lot smoother because of my bright morning courtesy of my wonderful children. Thank you, God!
